NetWork Kansas announced that it awarded more than $300,000 in funding during its March/April competitive round. The funds will be used in the startup phase of 4 businesses and the expansion phase of 5 businesses. The program, called StartUp Kansas, provides matching funds through its partner network to entrepreneurs and small businesses in rural and distressed Kansas communities. NetWork Kansas funding partners also work with other resource partners that provide business plan assistance, coaching and technical expertise.
